What is a Midweek Adventure?
Midweek Adventures give Scout Groups the opportunity to visit Hesley Wood during their normal programme week for an evening activity or experience.
Do we need to stay overnight?
No. The idea is to make Hesley Wood something you can build into a normal section meeting without needing to organise a full residential or weekend camp.
What is Midweek Adventures: After Dark?
After Dark is the autumn and winter version of Midweek Adventures. Selected activities can continue after daylight hours using floodlit activity areas.
Which activities are available?
Activity availability can vary depending on your section, date, season and operational requirements. Contact the Hesley Wood team to discuss the current options.
Can different Scout sections take part?
Talk to our team about your section, age range and group size and we’ll discuss suitable options with you.
Can we book during autumn and winter?
Yes, subject to availability and suitable activities. Midweek Adventures: After Dark is specifically designed to keep the idea going through the darker evenings.
