As the clock strikes midnight, and we welcome in 2022, thousands of people across South Yorkshire will have made a New Year’s Resolution. Most New Year’s Resolutions are broken within a few days, but at Hesley Wood Scout Activity Centre, our volunteer roles will allow you to keep your promise to yourself throughout 2022.
Volunteering at Hesley Wood as part of our Team is not only good for you, but also has a number of benefits. These benefits include being great for your mental health, learn new skills and helping young people to achieve something new to name a few.
Some of the roles our volunteers fulfil include

- Running the on-site shop
- Support for the service teams
- Maintenance of the site
- Cleaning
Volunteers can give as much or as little of their time as possible and we have a flexible programme which enables volunteers to fit their involvement in with their lives.
