Easter Egg-stravaganza

Eggstravaganza is our Easter take over! A great day out for Cubs, Brownies and the younger years.

Fun Camp

In May we host Fun Camp, a weekend packed full of activities for Cubs, Brownies and younger years. It can be tiring for the little ones so we have Saturday day tickets available too!

HesFest

In July we celebrate the good weather with Hesfest! Activities, Music and lots of fun to be had all weekend long. Perfect for Scouts/Guides and above.

Arrivals are often busy and hectic so to keep things running smoothly we kindly request that you inform your group members of their campsite number or organise a designated meeting area. Car parking and drop-offs will be organized using a one-way system, operating from the long field (subject to weather conditions). If you require overnight parking or need to drop off group equipment on-site, please inform the parking attendant upon your arrival so that we can make necessary arrangements. There is no vehicle access permitted to the building or campsite for parents. Please be patient whilst we ensure everyone get’s where they need to be as safely and quickly as possible.

Additionally on Friday, wide games will be conducted during the evening starting from camp centre. Further details will be provided in the information package for the specific event you are attending.

Saturday activities will be available on a queue-and-do basis. There are no pre-booked slots; each group is responsible for managing their time during the activities. Please be aware that queues may need to close before the scheduled finish time to ensure that everyone in the queue gets a chance to participate in the activity. The activities will run until the specified closing time mentioned on the program information page.

To ensure smooth flow, we recommend going around the activities in small groups, which will help keep the queues moving efficiently. In certain activities where multiple individuals can participate simultaneously, your group might be paired with another group. However, on some activities like ‘The Cube’, there is a maximum capacity for participants, necessitating the splitting of larger groups.

Evening entertainment will vary based on the event you are attending. For the most up-to-date information on the event’s entertainment schedule, please refer to our news page.

Sunday is the thrilling challenge day! Be sure to have your team names ready! The nature of the challenges will vary depending on the event. Teams, ideally consisting of 2-4 members, will participate in a diverse range of activities to earn points. The team that amasses the most points will be celebrated and announced during the closing ceremony.

For pick up on Sunday another one way system will be in place. This is often one of the busiest periods of the weekend for our team, so please be patient.
